This means that pumping points into Cognition will be very important for creating a character that uses guns well. Firearms in this game gain increased damage from the Cognition stat, with the aforementioned Entropic Railgun requiring 12 cognition to equip and granting a bonus 70% cognition when equipped. In order to find better items in Hellpoint it is essential that you explore every nook and cranny as more often than not they will be found in places where you are not supposed to be.This build is going to focus on Firearms, with the end goal being the Entropic Railgun which can be acquired via crafting using a Model that can be acquired from one of two areas around the game. This means not following a linear path but instead look for hidden doors and walls. Save Breach Synchronizers for Later Levels You can open doors by pressing the interact button and strike the wall to break them. In Hellpoint a Breach Synchronizer is a consumable which helps you link Breaches and travel between them. This consumable is rare so it is important that you save it for later levels in the game when you will need it. After the boss fight of every map you will be able to fast travel through a Bridge without using a Breach Synchronizer. The melee weapons in Hellpoint come with a stat called Leeching and initially you should look to use a weapon which has a higher Leech Stat. The reason being is that Leeching is the amount of energy you can drain per hit and the higher the Leeching stat the more energy you will be able to drain off your enemies.Ĭontinuously using the same weapons for a long period of time in Hellpoint will unlock their unique abilities. Others though will require installing a conductor to the weapon to start unlocking abilities.This build is based on the three Prophet Hands that exist in the game: the Nihl Prophet Hand, the White Prophet Hand and the Amber Prophet Hand. Each of them deals a different type of elemental damage, and can be used for both short and long reach encounters. For this build we will be using them as short ranged AoE weapons. The idea with this build is to use your Prophet Hands as short-range Weapons to deal with multiple enemies at the same time by using the Cluster Ability of the Hands. The Cluster Ability of the Prophet Hands release a bunch of small elemental balls that explode after a short time dealing AoE elemental damage. Using two hands at the same time, you'll be able to deploy twice as many bombs dealing massive elemental damage. You can also use the short range burst to deal with individual enemies or the Beams to keep a safe distance if you are low on health. We will be investing into Reflex to use light armor and maximize mobility, but you can also use Strength to create a Short range tank. You can swap between the second slot Hands to deal with different resistance type enemies. Main Hand: White Prophet Hand and Red Saberįor your main hand you'll want to use your favorite type of hand (I'm using the White Prophet Hand as its good against most Enemies) and something with high leech to quickly restore your energy to keep spamming your Prophet Hand abilities.NOTE: This build uses the same equipment and Stats as the Boss Melter Build, so you can swap between them very fast Equipment For this build we will be investing into Reflex, so the Red Saber is a great option, but you can use any weapon with high Leech and high attack speed. Make sure to prioritize attack speed as you only want to recover your energy as quick as possible. Second Hand: Nihl Prophet Hand, and Amber Prophet Hand.If you are using a Strength build, you can opt for a Strength based weapon such as Nemundis Oculus.
